Connect Binance to CRX

Binance Futures API — Key + Secret only. Trade ON, Withdraw OFF.

Crypto exchanges use API Key + Secret (+ Passphrase on OKX/Bitget). Enable trade/read only — withdraw must stay OFF.

Before you connect
  • Enable Read + Trade (or equivalent) only.
  • Keep Withdraw / Transfer / Move funds OFF — always.
  • CRX rejects crypto keys that can withdraw.
  • Funds stay in your venue wallet — CRX never holds capital.

Futures vs Spot on Binance

CRX supports both products. Set up the right wallet on the exchange first, then pick Futures or Spot in CRX Settings → Trading product.

Futures (USDT-M)

CRX trades Binance USDT-M perpetuals. API key needs Futures permission. USDT must sit in the Futures wallet.

  • Binance app → Futures → USDT-M
  • Transfer USDT to Futures wallet
  • API: Enable Reading + Enable Futures (Withdraw OFF)
  • In CRX: Futures product + connect keys + Live consent

Spot (1× buy & sell)

CRX spot LONG spends USDT to buy base. Spot SHORT needs Binance margin / auto-borrow enabled on the account.

  • Binance app → Trade → Spot
  • LONG: standard spot wallet — no margin needed
  • SHORT: enable Spot margin / cross margin + borrow on Binance
  • In CRX: Spot product + same API key (Futures permission optional for spot-only)

Step 1 — On Binance

Create API key on Binance

Binance connects with API Key and Secret (no passphrase). Enable USDT-M Futures trading permission. Never enable withdrawals or universal transfer for this key.

Open Binance API Management

Log in to Binance → Profile icon → API Management. Complete security verification if prompted.

  • Account → API Management
  • Use main account or dedicated sub-account

Create API key

Click Create API. Label it CRX. Choose System-generated key type unless your workflow requires otherwise.

  • Label: CRX
  • Complete 2FA / email confirm

Permissions

Enable Reading and Enable Futures (USDT-M). Do NOT enable Withdrawals, Internal Transfer, or Margin loan if not needed.

  • Enable Reading — ON
  • Enable Futures — ON
  • Enable Withdrawals — OFF
  • Restrict IP (optional, recommended)
  • Save API Key + Secret Key

How to connect in CRX

Three steps in Settings → Venue Connection. Funds stay on Binance — CRX never holds your capital.

Open Settings → Venue Connection

Dashboard → Settings → Venue Connection. Your CRX account must be Crypto signup (not Forex).

Select Binance & paste credentials

Click Binance in the Crypto row. Paste: API Key, Secret Key. Click Connect Keys.

Set risk & go live when ready

Settings → Risk: margin per trade, leverage, max positions. Enable Live Automation Consent only when you want real-money order instructions.
