Connect FXPro to CRX

FXPro MT5 — Login, Password, Server.

These forex brokers connect via MT5 Login + Password + Server — not a REST API key. CRX routes orders through the MT5 bridge (Windows PC with MetaTrader 5 + MT5_BRIDGE_URL).

Before you connect
  • Use MT5 trading password — not the FXPro portal password if they differ.
  • Server name must match exactly (e.g. FxPro-MT5 Demo or FxPro-MT5).
  • Demo server recommended before live gold/silver/FX testing.

Step 1 — On FXPro

Get MT5 credentials from FXPro

FXPro live execution uses MetaTrader 5 credentials. Open an FXPro MT5 account, copy login and server from MT5, and paste into CRX Settings for gold, silver, and FX majors.

Open FXPro & create MT5 account

Sign in to FXPro. MyFXPro → Trading Accounts → MetaTrader 5. Open or request a MetaTrader 5 account (demo recommended first). Download MT5 from FXPro if you have not already.

  • Use MT5 account type — not cTrader-only unless you also have MT5
  • Note Demo vs Live — server name differs
  • Complete KYC if required before live MT5

Copy Login, Password & Server

In the FXPro client area or MT5 terminal (File → Login to Trade Account), copy the numeric Login, trading Password, and exact Server string.

  • Login — numeric MT5 account number
  • Password — MT5 trading password (may differ from website login)
  • Server — e.g. FxPro-MT5 Demo or FxPro-MT5
  • Server spelling must match exactly — including spaces and suffixes

Prepare MT5 bridge (required)

FXPro does not offer a direct REST API for CRX. Orders route through MetaTrader 5 on a Windows PC. Install MT5, log in once, and set MT5_BRIDGE_URL on the CRX server (see docs/LIVE-LOCAL-TEST.md).

  • Windows PC with MetaTrader 5 logged in to your account
  • CRX MT5 bridge service running and reachable
  • Use a dedicated MT5 account for automation if possible

Step 2 — In CRX

How to connect in CRX

Three steps in Settings → Venue Connection. Funds stay on FXPro — CRX never holds your capital.

Open Settings → Venue Connection

Dashboard → Settings → Venue Connection. Your CRX account must be Forex signup (not Crypto).

Select FXPro & paste credentials

Click FXPro in the Forex row. Paste: MT5 login, Password, Server name. Click Connect Broker. MT5 bridge must be running on your Windows PC before connect succeeds.

Set risk & go live when ready

Settings → Risk: margin per trade, leverage, max positions. Enable Live Automation Consent only when you want real-money order instructions.
